The Ranthambhore Music Festival was conceived with a vision to celebrate artistic traditions, cultures and nature through the unifying power of music.
Over 2 nights and 3 days, the festival brings to its audience a spectacular banquet of Music, Art, Food and Wildlife experiences.
The aim of the festival is to offer audiences a chance to discover and appreciate extraordinary music, timeless folk traditions and the beautiful and majestic wildlife of India. All this and more set against the backdrop of the grand and opulent Nahargarh Palace in Ranthambhore.
Tickets are now available for RMWF 2019 with special early bird rates on palace and haveli room packages, which include a bunch of exciting freebies like tiger safaris, star gazing, all access, after parties and of course a season ticket to the festival.
Apart from the festival packages, you are welcome to purchase a season ticket to RMWF and choose from a wide selection of hotels and guest houses available in Ranthambhore. If you have any questions or need any advice, we're happy to advise you on your festival planning. Our goal is to make it one of the most memorable experiences of 2019.
Dhonk Craft is a brand founded by Divya Khandal, a dietician by profession but an ardent lover of handicrafts at heart. At Dhonk, the artisan, mainly women work with 3 crafts - handmade toys, sometimes using waste fabrics; hand block printing and moonj basketry.
The Ranthambore School of Art was established with an aim to create awareness about Project Tiger. The school displays and sells paintings of the Great Indian Tiger among other wildlife paintings.
RMWF will feature an exclusive art auction featuring many of these paintings. The proceeds of which go towards the artists and school itself.
Spot the endangered Gharial Crocodile on a boat safari down the Chambal River. The region is home to some of the country's most exotic birds as well. Add to that a chance spotting of freshwater Gangetic dolphins and jungle cats lurking around on the banks of the river.
There are several flight options from major cities. Jaipur city will be your airport of arrival from where attendees must avail of a pre-paid taxi for their onward journey to Ranthambhore.
Almost all of our visitors who have taken the train attest to the fact that it is truly an enjoyable, clean and comfortable journey by train from either Mumbai or Delhi. It is also the most convenient, taking you straight to Sawai Madhopur station, which is just 6km from the palace.
For those who love road trips, a drive through Rajasthan is one of the most beautiful experiences. Breathtaking countrysides coupled with some of India's best national highways makes this a great option to consider if you've got the time and the inclination.
